May 22, Orders Limited?

Ugh. Yes, I know. Are we sure Jeep is going to price protect through 2023? If 2023 production truly does begin middle of August, I would imagine 2022 production would have to end by August 1st at the latest. Can Jeep fill every remaining 2022 order in the next 8-9 weeks? If not, the remaining orders will have to get bumped to 2023. Is Jeep going to price protect someone that ordered last December?

The 23's will start to be built in a few months, it makes little sense to want to order a 22. Heck, I'm hoping that my order doesn't make the cut off.

To all of you still in D status with no scheduled build date, including myself, would you consider cancelling your existing 2022 order and just ordering a 2023 if June 15th rolls around, 2023 ordering opens up, and your 2022 order is still sitting in D status?

I ordered my 22 on the first day of orders 10/8/21. It still took 5 months. Ordering 1st doesn't mean it will be manufactured first.

Unfortunately there's a chance that some of those early orders won't be built at all in this model year. If there's some magic missing piece or combination of pieces that doesn't exist yet then there's nothing that says that that will be resolved before 2023 production starts.

If I could be price locked with all of my options and promised to be one of the first built. I'm 4 months in to my 2022 order and just sold our second car. We were told 7-9 weeks and here we are at week 16 and NOTHING. We need a second vehicle by mid August to get kids to school (private HS and private middle school - no bus service). We couldn't hold off selling any longer, since we had a solid deal and a great buyer. I'm just done.

So order for wife’s JLU Sport placed June 4, placed in production queue July 6. Anybody get a 2023 VIN yet? Any idea when builds will start?

Bump. Our Wrangler was built 7/16 and estimated delivery is 8/2. Finally!!!
