I just got one for her and kept mine. That was 6 years ago and she went from a 2016 JKUR to a 2021 JLURD and I just replaced my 2009 JKR with a 22 JLURD.

Does your wife have a sister? Asking for a friend. So, I drive a 700 HP Ram TRX, my wife drives an equal Challenger Hellcat for her car. We also had a 4-cylinder JLUR. One day my wife Is driving the JLUR, and she comes home and says "honey, why does the Jeep have a 4-cylinder"? I looked at her to be sure she was serious, then replied, "we can fix that problem". The 392 we replaced it with is much more fun to drive.
A 392 will solve your problems as well.
Mine was a v1.0 Ridgeline, which, I agree, had a funky aesthetic from the get. I will say Wrangler owners would wish they had the bulletproof quality of that Honda. Fair is fair here.
I asked for a friend 20+ years ago. Now they're getting a divorce and both the guy and gal are pissed at me. ?Does your wife have a sister? Asking for a friend.
Honda quality is not what it used to be. Honda has been ranking well below industry average in JD Power's Vehicle Dependability Study, after 3 years of ownership.Mine was a v1.0 Ridgeline, which, I agree, had a funky aesthetic from the get. The 2nd (current) generation vehicle, in your quoted post, now looks like most other middleweight crew cabs. I had one as a loaner and they are pretty pleasant.
If you substituted Toyota for Honda, I'd agree.Honda quality is not what it used to be. Honda has been ranking well below industry average in JD Power's Vehicle Dependability Study, after 3 years of ownership.

Wife stole my jeep now I have to get a new one ??![]()
I disagree. Toyota quality has stayed above industry average the entire time.If you substituted Toyota for Honda, I'd agree.
That said, since 2002, there's been no less than one Honda in our garage. Prior to trading the Ridgeline for my Jeep, we owned three of them. The newest one is a 2019 CR-V. They were all outright purchases, no leases, and all but one (the 2019) were Certified Used vehicles. But for one goofy repair on the Ridgeline that was linked to a weak plastic part, they've all been well-nigh bulletproof.
Now go back to kvetching about the Bronco, so that we're on the same page again.![]()

Ah, well, there's the distinction: You're poring over graphs while I'm relaying the experiences of a long-term owner. I've got skin in the game. You have...a spreadsheet? ?We measure consumer perceptions of auto brands on an ongoing basis. Honda metrics have all been declining over the past 5 years or so; even those related to their marketing.
I don't know what the industry average is but I wouldn't argue if someone said the Toyota was more reliable than Jeep. My father owned a garage for over 60 years and repairing foreign cars was pretty good business for them. Their biggest problem was getting parts. I always thought if I was a bad person and ended up in the hot place when I died, the first thing they would do is ask me if I wanted a Toyota or a Honda to drive, IOW that is my definition of H___.I disagree. Toyota quality has stayed above industry average

Yup. These are the rankings on vehicle dependability after 3 years of ownership. Toyota is 5th; Jeep is right below industry average. Honda is 9th and Acura 5th from the bottom.I don't know what the industry average is but I wouldn't argue if someone said the Toyota was more reliable than Jeep. Sample #2 here was a short term owner. Bought an ~ 27K mi. 95 Prelude in 99 after moving and my 10mpg PU with a 130 mi commute sucked. Constant AC problems concluding in all components replaced, both front axles, struts, clutch issues and crank position sensor. The final straw was blowing a cam seal in the middle of my commute from the foothills with no cell service at 3AM leaving me stranded!! The most unreliable vehicle I have ever owned, and I bought my first one in 67, have owned many!! So much for the old Hondas being reliable!! It was fun to drive—when it was drivable. You are sample of one...
Anyway, I am happy you love your Hondas. You can keep them.
