I don't understand people. when I was 18 I was driving thru New Hampshire and saw an adult Moose by the side of the road. there were about 10 cars pulled over with the people walking up to it to take pictures. Even at that young age I thought I was going to see somebody die as I drove by.

Those Bison are not scared of humans at all. There is a trail about 90 minutes from home called "Poverty Flats". It is a narrow shelf road with moderate challenges that ends right at the Zion's National Park boundary line, so fantastic scenery. You leave the highway, open a wire gate into a field and then pick up the trail. After closing the gate I usually air down right on the other side of the fence. There is often times a herd of Bison in the field, but they generally leave you alone. One time I noticed a bull that had left the herd and was walking my way at a casual pace. I kept my eye on him as I finished airing down. When he got to 50 feet away I gave up on airing down and quickly hopped in the Jeep and took off. When I got up to leave he sped up considerably, and got way too close for comfort before I got out of there. If I hadn't been wary of him and paying attention he could have had me.
