For anyone searching, the M.O.R.E. 2-door 2.0 engine skid plate will not fit due to the gas tank skid and probably the gas tank itself.

Unfortunately their website states "Fits 2018 to Current JL Wranglers Unlimited (4 Door)", but then later confirms 2-door fitment in the Questions & Answers section. This is incorrect.

In order to make this fit, you would need to cut out at least this much material, which would significantly weaken the passenger side rear.

I posted that question on their site about it fitting the 2 door with the 2.0. I ordered and it fit mine without clearance issues. It was a pain to get it all aligned but it fit.

I spoke with them about the incompatibility, and it appears they've modified the design with a notch right by the gas tank. It looks longer now too... the skid used to end right after the crossmember bolts.

I ordered and received mine at the beginning of June. I also installed the transfer case skid plate you see after the crossmember bolts. Mine is only notched for the crossmember. It is a really tight fit between the end of the oil pan skid plate and gas tank skid plate. Barely any daylight, basically touching. I might have gotten lucky with some bolt hole alignment. Are they sending you a replacement? Mine seems pretty stout. I was originally concerned about the front mounts but they are solid.

They send me a full refund and I didn't have to ship it back. I'm going to give it to my friend with a 4-door, so we'll see if it was actually fabricated incorrectly.

I've also read that the 2018 2-door gas tank is 1 gallon larger than 2019+ 2-doors... I wonder if this is what caused the incompatibility.
