Hello all

I need to add steps to make it easier for the wife get in and out.

The M.O.R.E are only made to fit I around the stock Rubicon rock sliders. I have the Mopar performance steps so they don't fit.

Question: has anyone ever made or had made a additional plate to allow for clearance for the M.O.R.E. step to fit around the Mopar performance step.

Thanks

Nevermind this post. The M.O.R.E is not going to be a big enough surface area. Between her not so great vision, not good balance and the bad back, I need something different.

Thanks

Any luck?

Kinda in a similar boat. New Willys w/XR pack. Love the Rubi rails on it but have come across a few times where I'm having to overextend myself to climb in. Found the M.O.R.E. Hide a step too pricey and not that big of a helper since I'd have to bring my foot almost to the same height as the rail to prop it open. Also the Archetype stirrups face the same issue, pricey and height wise are at the same level.

Had come across a google result that showed someone added some rivnuts to the underside of the OEM Mopar Rock Rails and then bolted on some drop down steps that were originally for another brand of rock rails. Cant seem to find it again.

Also just saw some in amazon that a few users modified brackets to make them work with the Mopar rails.. but no clear view of how they made it work.

unless you are under 5' tall and in really bad shape it is super easy to get the MORE step down. My wife is 5'1" over 60yoa and has no issues on my lifted jlur running 35's. they are super easy to use and solid. I thought the MORE's were kind of pricey but now that I have had them they are worth the money.

No luck. I ended up going a different route. Between the wife's bad back, and poor eyesight I felt the M.O.R.E. just wasn't going to make her happy. Last thing I need is for her misstep and get hurt.

I ended up spending more than I wanted and got the RC power E boards. I really like them, they work great for the wife and I am pretty impressed with the overall quality and engineering. Plus I maintain pretty close to the same clearance, and I like the way they look folded up and down.

I'm tall and have no physical issues, so having no step at all works fine for me. But this is our only vehicle right now, so they were a necessary evil for now.
