Fender chop question

I have the painted rubicon fenders and looking to do the fender chop with the QUAKE led/fender supports. I am also going to use the Artec inner fender liners. One thing I do not like about the Chops I have seen is the bare fender underneath looks unfinished and you see everything. I also worry about a large rock flying up and the impact cracking the paint on the top of the fender. Has anyone done a rhino or bed liner coating? Any pics?

I haven’t, but I’m in the process of installing AAL quick release inner fenders and brackets. I hadn’t thought of it but since I’m in the middle of it I might as well. I’ve got a few cans of spray on Boom Mat from another project so I’ll try it.

When you say brackets, are you talking the high line DRL brackets from AAL? If so, how long ago did you order vs when they delivered?

Yes. I bought them from another forum member a while back. But I know that AAL is having issues keeping up with orders. I did recently order the front inner fenders when they were back ordered. I called to ask and was told about 2 weeks. They shipped in 2 weeks, I just got them. Call and ask for Taylor and inquire about ETA.
