Oh, they don't even use the pinch seem as a mounting point. The AAL liners come with mounting plates that attach to and fully cover the pinch seams. They serve as both a body color blackout and have the dzus sockets on them so the liners can be removed quickly. That's what is complicating my doing a simple trim of my seams. I'd also have to modify those plates along with the liners, in an artful way, to follow a wider arch.All the room to trim whatever you want/need.
