Fender extensions

I'm wondering about the little extra lip that sticks out on a Rubicon fender. I'm (hopefully) eventually going to take delivery of amy Willys and I'm hoping that's a piece I can add on. Or is it a whole fender that comes with that?
I'm sure it isn't a useful thing, but it just looks like a cool little detail. I'm sure I'm not the first to start looking at stubby antennas and little grab handles before I even have my Jeep

A great tip is to use Google as opposed to the site search.

"XR Flares+JLWranglerforum" for instance will show lots.
