I have a 21 JL Rubicon (6 speed manual) in 3rd gear when accelerating at exactly 43-44mph the engine will lurch it seems to stutter between 43-44 or something before the power hits back on. I can replicate this issue easily especially if setting cruise control at 43 and then bumping the control to 44mph its also audible from the exhaust. It has done this since new I'm gonna finally get it checked out and I'll post what they tell me but I'm hoping a remap will fix it. It will make the exhaust noise every time but sometimes the jeep will physically lurch forward enough to push you into the seat after the stutter at 43mph.

6 years ago this post was made, was a solution to the problem ever found? I see people have flashed their vehicles, but would I still need to do this with a 2020?

I recently purchased a used 2020 2dr Automatic sport, and when decelerating at around 15-20 mph (brakes or not) the vehicles shudders around three times in succession.. it is driving me absolutely crazy.

I have posted on other forums and had multiple people at a shop test drive the vehicle, and not sure where to go from here.

This is my third Wrangler with the 3.6 pentastar engine, and never experienced this on this previous two (2012 and 2016)

Any help or suggestions to tell the shop is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to all you wonderful people.

Sadly, most auto trans problems seem to end with a trans replacement from reading many posts here. Might be the reason someone sold it ...
