Get the tazer wiring harness and be done with it. Works just like factory.
The harness just masks the issue. It will not prevent your locker from engaging or disengaging inadvertently. This is discussed furter back in this thread.

Potted mine today, 1100 miles on the Jeep. 10/10 pucker factor, only had a hand drill. Thank God I drilled *slowly* with light pressure because my drill bit actually made light contact with my rear sensor circuit board when drilling one of the holes…I looked through the hole and couldn’t see any obvious circuit board damage. Before I filled them with potting compound I popped both sensors back into the Jeep to test the lockers in the garage to make sure I didn’t damage the rear sensor. Rolled back and forth about 5’ and…both axles still lock! Talk about a huge sigh of relief!

The sensors are now filled with potting compound and are curing in the garage. Will re-install tomorrow with the new diff covers and I’ll double check function again. Was pretty nervous doing this with so few miles on the Jeep but I don’t want to have a potential issue down the road. This will hold me over until I eventually throw some Dana 60s under the Jeep ?

If that is the right part number and sensor then that is it! I see that haven’t addressed the sealing issue! I would still get a new one and have it potted. That’s the only way to seal it up.

Googling 68544629AA does not bring up the sensor.

It may be the correct part but every illustrated exploded parts view on Mopar's site does not show anything resembling the notorious sensor...

Has anyone actually ordered one and can verify this is the is indeed the correct sensor?

I say we all kick in a little cash each to someone and they order it to see if that’s the one.

It looks like you can purchase the sensor now. BAM parts shows it as #71 in the diagram and refers to it as the sensor. Picture on diagram matches the sensor part. It's about time.
It’s ridiculous that they’re gouging on this poorly designed part.
