Crankshaft position sensor

2020 Willys and a 2010 Rubicon
I need help I have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler 2dr Rubicon with the 6 speed manual transmission, I am losing power and have a rough idle but no codes , I replaced all spark plugs and leads and I put a new air filter in, but no joy I did research and people are saying it is a crank shaft position sensor I bought the new part at Auto Zone but have no idea where it goes it is a L shaped piece , some people are saying the front of the engine, some are saying behind the engine and some people are saying it is underneath near the exhaust at the front I haven’t a clue where this piece goes please help me

While the engine is very similar, I’m guessing you’d have much better luck on a JK forum. This forum is specifically for 2018.5 and up Jeep JLs.

While the engine is very similar, I’m guessing you’d have much better luck on a JK forum. This forum is specifically for 2018.5 and up Jeep JLs.
I am sorry I didn’t know Unfortunately my spouse passed away on the March the 4th of this year and I am having to learn how to fix jeeps by myself
