My front passenger side axle seal has been leaking and I decided to order the parts and fix it. I was able to get the seal out and as I was cleaning up the tube for the new parts I noticed the intermediate shaft had a lot of movement. So I pulled the clip and removed the shaft to see what was...

In 2025 I Resolve to Offroad with Metalcloak!
To fulfill my pledge I need:
1. UnderCloak Integrated Armor System, JT Gladiator, 3.6L Motor
2. Jeep JT Gladiator 3.5" 4-Link, Bolt-On Long Arm Suspension & Lift Kit (Rocksport Black Adjustable Reservoir Shock) (Rear Bolt on Long...
Did you set your control arms to the MC suggestions? I spoke to Chris at Mc yesterday as told hi my current setting and we came to a setting. Which I dialed in the new measurements on all 4 arms. I stil have to take it to get it aligned but I drove it this morning I think it’s the best it’s ever...
First off, Merry Christmas to you all! So I got the Metalcloak LCAs as a gift along with the Trackbar/Steering Box brace but this post pertains to the LCAs. My current setup is is the MC 3.5 TDR kit. I am using the MC UCAs (Set @ 20”) and the Mopar Lift LCAs and my caster is 5.3/5.4 per that...
Thank you for that info. My other dilemma with not going down the rabbit hole is what brand oil to use. I've use Valvoline and Amsoil in the past, I've also seen others use Royal Purple.
So I ordered a set of Cavfab diff covers and will hopefully get them installed this weekend. I reached out to Cavfab on fluid quantity since their website didn't specify how much oil to use. They said they didn't have an exact amount but recommended I fill to just below the fill plug. I know...

Well it’s been about 6 months since I had it at the dealer and now out of warranty. It would also be a finger pointing on who did what. Plus it’s a few weeks to even get it into the dealer. This mess up is the reason I do my own work, but since they covered the seal replacement it was easier to...
So the last time time the dealer replaced the front axle seals they fubared my front fill plug. I’m going to have to drill or chisel it out! I am trying to find the thread size so I can get a replacement. Lots of websites have conflicting information as to what the proper plug is. Anyone know...
Can anyone tell me what the voltage reading is on the dash after deleting the Aux Battery? I have pulled the F42 fuse and taped off the aux neg cable from the main battery and after a 8+ drive to Central Florida my voltage stayed at 12.7 with only increasing when letting off the gas and then it...

Well after an 8+ hour drive the voltage never went above 12.7 except for when letting off the accelerator and then would go back down to 12.7 at idle. Other owners I talked to said they experienced the same results. I know some IBS settings can be changed in JSCAN. But I haven’t messed with...
I had the dreaded dead aux battery over the weekend and decided to delete the aux battery after replacing the main battery Sunday afternoon. I put the new battery on the charger overnight however this morning the Jeep started fine but now my voltage is only showing 12.6 on the instrument...
I’ll be testing by keeping all the neighborhood kids bicycle tires inflated, then testing to see how long it takes to air up my 35” tires from a long day on the trails. And finishing the day airing up all the water toys! Either way thank you for the opportunity at a chance to win!
When I first bought my JL I potted my sensors around the 400 mile mark but traded it in with around 7500 miles on it and bought a JT and I potted those sensors at 894 miles and now have 33k miles on the clock with zero issues and use my lockers at least once a month with zero issues. I have...
I had the same issue. For me it was the Ball Joints. I replaced them with Terflex Ball Joints and never looked back. The factory Ball Joints are made with plastic cups and are trash. Once you install offset wheels and bigger tires they won't last long. I had 11k miles on mine.
