2 weeks ago at highway speeds got the service locker system light. Did some research came across the locker sensor issues. So got the ZAutomotive OEM Lkr harnesses. Installed them today and light went away.

This afternoon thought I would test and make sure lockers where functioning correctly.
4L engage rear locker no issues on the screen lights etc. Works as expected.
4L engage front and rear locker Flashes forever and does not engage.
Check offroad pages on Uconnect and it shows both front and rear are engaged even though the light was still flashing.

Turn off lockers go back into 2W and the Uconnect still says that they are engaged. Instrument panel does not show them engaged.

No error codes no nothing.
Any ideas on this one

Just to clarify, do you mean you don’t see evidence of your lockers engaging on the screens, or you know for a fact they are not mechanically engaging.

Hard to tell if they are mechanically engaging in my driveway. Unless there is a way to tell please share.

Based on the yellow light and the dash cluster the rears engage. The front and rear combo just flash and never engage.

I have installed the Zautomotive sensor bypass harness.

Jack a tire off the ground and try to spin it; if it won't spin, the diff is locked.

[Won't necessarily be definitive for the front axle in 2Hi because of the FAD, but the locker shouldn't be engaged in 2Hi anyway.]

@TYC2ND Bottom line: I just went through a possibly related thing on my 21 JLUR.
The main wiring harness that feeds the locker sensors was smashed, causing an intermittent short that caused the problem described below. When they replaced that, the problem went away.

Details if you care:

My symptoms were that the lockers would lock and unlock in 4WL as expected, but, once unlocked, the "locked" indicator (on both my dash display and off road pages display) would come on and off no matter what drive train selected (2H, 4H, 4L) ....sometimes blink for minutes, then go away, then come back minutes later as i would drive around in 2H with the lockers clearly unlocked. I could eventually make it go away...but, then....make it all happen again by putting the vehicle back in 4L and engaging lockers (lights would remain on), and then disengaging lockers (blinking on and off would happen again, regardless of the drive train selected).

I took videos of this, and then recreated in front of the dealer. After convincing them the problem was the vehicle and not a user error, and having them recreate it too, I convinced them to fix it as part of the 5 year drive train warranty ( I was in my last 2 months11). My dealer replaced the locker sensors in both front and rear differential and that did not fix the problem. They then discovered that the main wiring harness that feeds these sensors was smashed, causing an intermittent short that caused this. When they replaced that, the problem went away.

Hope this helps!

I tested in my driveway with the diff covers off and my phone propped up to record. This plate will shift as the lockers are engaged to lock, and then shift again in the opposite direction to unlock.

They make an audible click when they engage/disengage, if you are under the vehicle near the diff.

If you want to verify, put it in 4 LO and engage the lockers, place it in Neutral, leave the engine running, set the parking brake, chock one side of the wheels, jack the opposite side wheels, attempt to rotate the tires by hand. If you are able to rotate them, it's not locked.

Thanks for the replies going to get her up in the air today and see what is going on.
Have to take a real good look at the harness as well.

Hopefully I can get it worked out. She has a play date soon :)

That front harness just goes from the axle to the firewall. I think my 2018 has one of the ABS wires in that harness as well.
