i understand how you feel. It does look better than now to be honest. But its your choice whether or not to go up an inch or 2😬
The big reason I wanted to do a lift, other than to make room for 35’s, is to get some ride quality back. With the front sagged, I only had about 1.5” to the bump stops, and the front LCA’s were actually angled slightly upward toward the axle. Any bump in the road that hit both tires square would bottom the suspension out. It had a very rough ride. Going to the Mopar lift dramatically improved ride, and gave me a bunch of travel back.

I actually just put on the eco diesel rubicon shocks and springs with the lcas from the mopar lift. Since it just got on and needs to settle in, how long i dont know i guess time will tell. But for now the ride is fine. You can tell from pics and driving that there is a height difference within those inches

I put a heavy steel bumper and winch on my stock Sport S with 285/70R17 KO2’s. After a few years it sagged the front end by just over an inch. The Mopar lift netted me 5” in the front over what I had. The front is still being sagged by the weight, and if the stock bumper were on it would gain nearly another inch (lifting the front bumper with about 80 lbs of force out of the 180 lbs hanging up there lifts it an inch).

It does look a bit awkward with 33’s now. At least compared to what it used to look like with stuffed fenders.

5”????
that’s easily the biggest gain I’ve heard from the Mopar lift. Did you do diesel springs on a 2.0?

My front end was compressed/ settled by 3 years of bearing a heavy bumper and winch. It lost 1-1.5” over stock. The fresh springs lifted it to 2” above stock rubicon height, which is 1.5” above stock Sport height, which is 1.5” above where I started. So about 5” is right. I’m sure I’ll loose an inch on this lift after the springs settle.

The caster is just slightly off. The springs are just slightly bowed forward (but not outward thanks to the RK pads). A loss of 1” will get the caster just about right, so I’m anticipating about that much to be lost. Otherwise adjustable LCA’s will be on the way.

Not the best pics, but I decided to just make my own disconnects. Just a few lynch pins then I drilled holes into the stock blots. Just a quick test to see how they came apart and back on.

I ran stock take off rubicon wheels and tires on a 2.5” jks j-Konnect kit. For about a year and a half. Here is some flex shots with that kit. I’ve also add a picture of how my Jeep sits with 33's and 35's now. very last picture is 35's

You won’t need to re-gear with 33s; you might want to re-gear with 35s.

I own a Sahara with the Mopar 2-inch lift and 35-inch Generals: the stock 3.45 gearing means the automatic transmission hardly ever shifts into 7th and 8th gears any more, which has killed my fuel economy —13.5 MPG at the moment.

@aldo98229 has reported a significant drop in mpg since he moved to 35 tires. Have you seen anything similar?
Aldo has his own issue with his mpgs and til it gets fixed he shouldnt really chime in. I have 35’s with a 2.5 inch lift on a sport 3.45 gears automatic. And also After the tazer it feels like i still have 33’s on. Shifting and the engine kicking in along with gears when merging onto highway arent an issue. Lowest ive seen is 16 mpg city and ive seen as much as 21 mpg on the highway going 65 ish the whole way.

Right.... in that case I am getting 30 MPG...!!! LOL!!!

BTW, I never said the Jeep was having issues shifting or merging into traffic. The automatic transmission works like a charm and the Jeep drives and feels "normal."

But I have the display set up so that it shows the gear I am in and, like I said, it rarely shifts into 7th...and almost never into 8th. Other forum members have reported similar behavior of the automatic transmission after switching to 35s.

I have the speedometer calibrated for 34.5-inch tires (as measured) as well.

Aldo you need to read before you type. All i said is that you have your own issues with your mpgs. And you know you do. Then i went along to tel him about 35’s on 3.45.

Ditto on reading before you type: I never said you did, either.

But your prior post could leave the impression that I am having issues with the automatic or merging into traffic, which I am not. So I simply wanted to clarify.
