seems like most that have had issues have done the work themselves and then complain that the lift does not work or that it rides poorly. i had mine installed by an independent mechanic and I've had no issues.

Installing upgrades is half the entertainment the jeep provides me, and you gain the knowledge should you need a trail fix. Starting with let a trained mechanic do it as general advice may make sense for your skill set, but not so much for many here.

You may want to consider the schedule of that trained mechanic, with a limited amount of time to get the install done... I will take as long as needed to get it done correctly and understand how it works and what it might need in the future to keep it tip-top.

In fairness, the “adopted OP” found this dead thread and resurrected it. So I’d say his Search function appears to be working just fine... ?

I'm waiting on an XR JLUR to come in. I'll drive it like it is for a while but when it does get lifted it will be Clayton Offroad Overland+ 3.5"lift with Falcon 3.3 shocks and 37"Nitto trail grapplers. Quiet arms and maintenance free joints are very important to me. Also Tom Woods front and rear driveshafts.

Out of curiosity, what is so complicated with mopar lift install that the weekend DIY'er cant do?

Absolutely Nothing...As long as the DIY'er has basic mechanical skills, can follow instructions and has a bit of patience.

I had the Dynatrac Endurosport true 2" lift on my 19 JLUR with the 2.0 engine. It handled the extra torque just fine. It rode great, but is definitely designed with on road soft and comfy commuting as it's top priority. That soft suspension made it want to bottom out when coming off of ledges and it would show noticeable sag with 2 average size passengers in the back seat or a couple weeks of groceries in the cargo area. And that was before adding sliders, winch, stronger carriers and bumpers, etc.

I still have the 8 control arms and both track bars that I completed this lift with, sitting in the garage.

Mopar lift but installed by a trained mechanic and not by a weekend DIY’er..

This is the perfect example why we can't have a legit list of the top 10 lifts.

I'll vote for the Ironman 4x4 spacer lift. Installed by a dealer "master mechanic" of course.

According to the original OP's page, it appears he went with a 2.5in Icon lift. No pics except the delivery photo though. I would like to see how those 20" rims look on his 37 Nittos. LOL
