Just want to fit 35-37" tires without an issue. Feel I can fit 35" now but it looks so much better lifted.
I put these in so I didn’t have to mess with regearing transmission or steering adjustments. Nice smooth ride! You will have to invest in a spring coil compression tool.

Plenty of recommendations on kits already, so I’ll stick to this. Buy the minimum you need for the aesthetics, and if, big IF, you need more, then start spending some coin.

Buy what you need. For a mall crawler that “may” see rock crawling, stay cheap. I have talked to a lot of folks who bought a Jeep, wanted to lift for aesthetics, but also comment on being paranoid that they need more for the wheeling they haven’t done. Having a vision is great! But it’s like buying a full home gym with limited to no pattern of working out. Lot of money for very little use.

Even if you never leave pavement you still use your suspension every day. No you don't need high end reservoir shocks due the street, but a quality shock will ride better than bargain bin garbage or stock shocks with extensions. I'd go with at least the Rancho 9000xl's for a street Jeep. Unless it's purely for looks in that you're lifting your Jeep and putting 37s on it to leave it parked somewhere, you use the shocks every time you drive it.

You can wheel your jeep stock the way it is all over the country, I did.

But, since your not looking to do that and your okay with the ride then it really doesn't matter. I wouldn't even spend money on any full lift or even a so called better more expensive spacer lift.

I found a Daystar 2" spacer lift on eBay that came with the longer LCAs for $274 dollars. I had to install the bushings, and I installed the kit myself. You can have a shop do it.

Point is I drove my jeep every day, I wheeled hurricane Creek, and countless dirt roads, and 9 BOH trails for almost 2 years and the spacer lift did fine. Eventually I did wear some items. Partially because of all the wheeling in general and I had no sway bar disconnect which didn't help.

Point is you don't need much to lift it, add bigger tires and mall crawl. The only thing I would suggest is make sure you get the longer LCAs with whatever you get.

Why such a big lift if you’re not going to offroad it?
Why does this question really need to be asked in 2024? There are Jeepers of all types: Off roaders, beach cruisers, garage queens, mall crawlers, etc, etc.

Why do so many have to go straight to criticism of someone's intent instead of Just. Answering. The. GD. Question.

I am going minimalist too to fit 35’s on my Willys. Likely going with the Clayton Off-road Jeep Wrangler 1.5" Ride Right+ Lift Kit. No shocks included with this but this kit you can build on according to Clayton. So when I am ready I can pursue the shocks of choice whether it be Bilstein 5100s or Fox. $1500 price point won’t break the bank.

This is exactly what I did. Except I had to do the shocks first because I blew them out at 45K. Then I did the same 1.5" ride right at about 50K. Then I got a hold of the front LCAs at about 52K from a forum member that only had about 500 miles on them.

Then I ended up replacing the tie rod and drag link with MC parts, and in a few weeks I will be ordering all 4 of the rear control arms and will be done with a complete Clayton full lift.

Has anyone needed a steering stabilizer or the need to regear with adding 37"?
I put the AEV lift in my 24 JLUR and like the others mentioned I ended up with well over 2.5in of lift. If I recall it was more like 3.25 inches.

Mine came from the factory with 4.88's and I have 37's as well. I put a AEV steering stabilizer on at the same time I installed the lift and they were both added when it was basically new I think it had around 150 miles on it when I added them but it did seem to drive better then when it was completely stock. Added the AEV front bumper and Warn winch at about 1000 miles but even the extra weight of the new front bumper/winch and rear tire carrier with heavier 37in spare hasn't really changed the overall height much at all. I thought it may settle just a bit but it hasn't.

First post? Do you work for this company or ?

#1) If you did install this on your Jeep, you would have found that you do need to make steering adjustments with a 3" lift.

#2) There is no transmission regearing to be done.

A 3 inch ”lift leveling” kit, with “shock extend”, from China, for a JK, for about $75 or best offer. I mean, it should be fine right? I’m sure they sell the $20 coil spring compressor to make the install go smoothly.

Only judging by the pictures, the weld seem to be a lot nicer than the weld I see on my frame lol.
But picture lies all the time.
