Bumping my own post in hopes that someone will jump in here with some views/experience.
Most lift companies are basing their lifts off of the Rubicon…I don’t think the axle side bracket is a problem, but the tie rod clamp with the bolt that the stabilizer mounts with is an issue… if you don’t have a 2” lift, or 2” additional bump stop then there’s a chance the bolt will contact the frame when off-roading…..If you’re mostly on pavement, you can probably get away with it….. Also you have the extended bump stops, so that may be sufficient, but I’m not sure on that one……if you do decide to use the MC axle side bracket, be sure and use their tie rod clamp, as the stud is angled to match the raised axle side bracket…..

Thanks Roky. I was aware of the angle on the tie rod clamp for Metalcloak, so I had planned on using that if I go with the Metalcloak axle side bracket.

I had not realized though that I might have an issue with contacting the frame. That would seem to apply across the board to anyone with a stock XR. So has anyone run into this problem when relocating the stabilizer on an XR?

I’m just not sure about the longer bump stops on the XR, they might be a work around….if you’re able, you can disconnect the sway bar , stuff the axle and measure how much room there is above the tie rod to the frame, or bottom of the radiator…… you might be ok…

I found my old synergy clamp and it looks like if you have at least 2.5” clearance above the tie rod, when fully stuffed, you’re good….
Synergy has the same (2” extra bumps, or 2” lift) requirement as MC……
