I have been carrying my stock 2018 FOB with no key attached and just a strip of heavy duty electrical tape over the key to keep it from popping out and also turned off the panic button and all is good, nice concept on the smaller one but what I have is not broke for my taste.

I'm assuming the metal key is gone with this case? What do you do with that piece?

Well, for those that want to hang the key on a ring with the DI Labs fob, DI Labs sells 3 different key holders.

I’ve grown to like the stock fob. I store it between the two cup holders while driving as they intended. When I carry it places I actually don’t put it in my pocket; I use the jeep key in my waistband on my right hip and all the other keys dangle out. I can definitely see how someone might want to put it on a diet though.

I got the smallest they had. The second I saw it, when it was preorder. I love it. Wouldn't complain about a step larger.

With the factory fob you should be able to jump start a jeep 5 times with all the battery space it has. Some how it has to plug in and feed the ESS.. Personally I use Gibson fob holder highly recommend and keep future jump start capability ?
