Hello all,

I purchased a used 2013 Wrangler Sport a couple months ago from a dealer.

The previous owner installed the KC Hilites 6" Apollo pros. Turns out the only thing that was done was mounting the lights. All the wiring was hidden in an airtight plastic bag under the cowl. Wiring was in new condition with no issues. I was missing the relay and the rocker switch.

Eager to install them, I purchased a relay and switch, and wired everything up.

With the switch on only one light works. Turning the switch off makes the other light work. I can't figure out how to make them come on together.

I have the plug and play kit so no splicing needed. Black ring to negative on the battery terminal. Yellow and white to the positive battery terminal.

Could I have purchased the wrong relay, or is it something else?

Really appreciate your help.

It's the relay. You can look on KC site to see the harness you need and see what type of relay they use. At least the lights still work. Now you just got to figure out the relay issue.

Sounds like you have one light wired to pin 87 and one light wired to pin 87a. If so try wiring both lights to pin 87, (normally open).
