Just ordered my 392!

I got word from my dealer today, that my Granite, Sky top, half door 392 moved to BX in the ordering system on 12/6. He said that means the order is good (no blocked colors, options, etc) and available for scheduling. The dealer also confirmed they are getting an allocation, so that confirms my order further (I placed order number 1 at this dealer on the first day - Nov 19th).

This dealer confirmed no dealer markup above sticker, and any available supplier or family discounts (I get both) would be honored if applicable to the 392 (probably not).

He also said blue was on hold for half doors (I think most of us knew that already). Sounds like any rumors of sky top on hold are not correct.

There will be plenty of these 392's made. Be patient. Pay what you want if you must be the first but the supply will out pace the demand without question.

Has Jeep stated a target for how many 392's they will produce?
Or is it "As many as we think we can sell!"

Why would this be different than the TRX where they are committed to producing one for every person who wants one. same company, same incentive.

I ordered my 392 as soon as I heard my dealer has an allocation of one. They were as excited they had an allocation as I was to accept it. We fine tuned and placed the order 11/27 in bright white to take the next chapter from my current JK Sahara. Excited to see when my dealer and I checked that the order is now in BX status.

@StingGrayRhino did your dealer say deposits were non-refundable? Seems counter productive since pricing isn’t released and they would sell regardless

I joined the team, Sarge 392. I am not sure how to decipher the codes and numbers from a timing end. Dealer said February/March. I don't think they knew, just able to place the order.

Its not offer and acceptance. Its a deposit to fulfill the contract when the car comes in

Thanks for the heads up. I ordered mine on 11/18. Sales manager entered order into FCA portal on 11/20 and although no estimated build date available, I now have been assigned a VIN#!
