Definitely in the cards for the JL, especially since the automakers signed a pledge to have it in all vehicles by 2022, so about 3.5 years away before mandatory.

Looking at the picture, the blank spot doesn’t look like a camera porthole (and doesn’t seem to have the usual accompanying sensors) and looks more like a standard mirror mount trapezoid. However that slightly larger recangular dark spot is odd and seems separate from the mirror dimensions behind it.

I thought I had to have the domed hood, but this looks really good too.

I like how you cut-off the malignant growth on the Wrangler beside it. :giggle:

I wonder if you’ll be able to get that silver part on the bumper around the fog lights to match body paint color.

I hate that silver trim with a passion, because it's silver no matter if you have black brown or rainbow. What the hell were the designers thinking? and how the hell did that get past so many people all the way to production? It's not even body colored like the previous Saharas!

They need to separate car and truck designers. This is what happens when you put the guy or gal that helped with the Chrysler 200 on the front bumper. Love the JL, but this contrast was a bad call. Thankfully, it can be easily fixed.

Interesting to see all the trail scaring on the JL’s grill. Still very easily chiped paint overtop of plastic it seems.

Easily fixed, just annoying, and half the reason I got MOPAR touchup paint.

Interesting how only the solid black bit of wrap stuck then, and not the all white or swirly bits of both.

How do you guys feel about that backup camera nose? Seems like it sticks out pretty far..
The backup camera needs to stick out a bit because it’s removable, and where it’s placed if it were flush in the wheel space it wouldn’t be able to look downward enough to see the space near the bumper, so it would have to tilt out a bit. Now with that tilt, because 1 of 3 mounting bolts is below it (even if it wasn’t the bigger anti-theft bolt) it needs to come out a bit more so as to not be obstructed.

It looks clunky to be sure, but it is an OK solution accounting for a vehicle where bumper swaps are common enough and where there are few other unobstructed attachement points, especially since the top is removable.

I like how the angle of the fender vent follows the same angle rake of the windshield.
