Maggie Slot Canyon just west of Alamo Lake AZ
I scraped my Rt front fender on this turn to the left. It was very tight, my friend in a 2 door TJ had no issue.

In the shot below I think we were about half way through.

Wow, that looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for the picture. I even did a google search to find out where Alamo Lake State Park AZ is at. If I'm down that way, I'll check it out.

And Kavanaugh Ridge is located near Lee Vining, California if I'm not mistaken. I remember stopping in Lee Vining for lunch at a small diner last fall on my way to the Rubicon trail. That is some beautiful country around there. Thanks.

Yes, pretty much the same area. I would guess you came in from Cedar Pocket along I-15. I came in from Gunlock, UT, through the Shivwits indian reservation. My location would have been about 15 miles northwest of the upper left corner of your map.

Actually this is north of there at the Blackrock exit, just south of the state line and weigh station. A short 5 mile trail that isn't difficult. Cedar Pocket is on the short list too though.

Ok, good to know. My location would have been about 30 miles northwest of the upper left corner of your map then.
I've driven that road from the Blackrock exit in a UTV. We camped on the other side of the freeway, off the Blackrock exit, with our toyhauler and did day trips in the area with our Can Am.

Last Friday morning for a not so pleasant visit...
Be there again tomorrow as the wife is going in for anterior cervical discectomy and fusion.
With a little luck, we'll have some much better scenery later this year. ?
