    To start it off...

Can someone with snap some pictures of the driver's seat area? I want to see the gap between the right side of the seat and the center console. Is there any space between there?

Also - can someone snap a picture of the underside of the steering wheel column area?

Beat me to it. OP I’ve heard of folks securing a box under the driver’s seat for their pistol.

That's the route I am going.

Might get a little complicated because my Sig P320 has a red dot sight on it. I will have to do some cutting on the top of the holster to accommodate it.

Yeah that's fine depending on your carry position/body/vehicle.

I tend to carry a full size gun in the appendix position, making drawing while sitting in a car quite complicated. So it's more realistic to have it in a dedicated car holster while driving and just transfer it when exiting the vehicle.

If I carry a smaller gun on the hip, then yeah, it'd stay there.

Me to but it is uncomfortable while driving due to position and I find it hard in the JL to draw quickly. With the GC holster I can put within reach when driving and put it in my CC holster when exiting.
