what do you guys think about having the bumpers painted to match body color? Do you think it will look good? I am not liking the bumper the more I look at it.

Any ideas?

Maybe some of it, like the center section, but not the whole thing.

Interesting how only the solid black bit of wrap stuck then, and not the all white or swirly bits of both.

Pretty sure most, if not all, just had just black (not swirly white camp) over the grilles.

I think it would look very odd. I’d just save for some sweet aftermarket

In my humble opinion painting bumpers sounds like a horrible idea. I think it would chip like crazy from normal road driving, off-roading would make it way worse. Besides that I think it would look funny. FCA will offer 2 bumper choices. I say wait to see them in person and if you still don’t like them go aftermarket.

Interesting that not a single US spec JL Sport has been spied yet, considering that it will be the most commonly sold/driven model. We keep seeing the euro spec with ugly bumpers and taped up grill which doesn’t make it anymore desirable.
Also, notice the forward rake which we thought would be eliminated with the JL. Turns out that’s being reserved for Rubicons only, as well.
