Does your company mfg their own heaters and temperature controllers, or use someone else’s?
we do mfg or element and as far as controllers we use super systems INC. as we have a good partnership with them unless a customer ask's for a specific brand like honeywell or watlow ETC

 Hang in there my Jeepin’ brother!! People can only be quarantined from that Chicago deep dish pizza for only so long...
Consider me on permanent quarantine from chicago deep dish... new york pizza for life!

Jokes aside, hang in there buddy. This quarantine is hard on everyone, we're social creatures! I've been trying to spend at least 15 minutes each day just sitting in, tinkering with, or cruising in the jeep too. It's a nice reminder that the sky isn't falling and the sun is still shining.

i’m splitting time each day. head. into the office at 4:30 AM blast thru what i can, load up what i need to work at home the rest of the day. This way, less people in the building. I work from home on Fridays anyway so i’m used to it. The ride is pleasant in the AM, just wish it was warmer so i could pop the top.
No getting out of work, since 75% of our work is hospital mechanical design and system installation.
Everyone keep safe, follow the plan and we’ll see each other on the trails.

no comparison....Chicago kicks ass. if i want a piece of bread i’ll go to the bakery.
When Pizzario Uno closed in Cleveland I was upset.
After I got married....after the wedding party, we headed to Uno for that classic deep dish.

As much as I love driving my Jeep I can’t just get in and drive with no destination. Seems like a waste of gas and mileage.
However if the weather breaks and I can open the roof and pull the doors then umm.......I might take a ride to that Costco that’s like 50 miles away and see if they have any toilet paper.

As far as my above post, it’s just an attempt at a little light humor. I’m not pig headed and would definitely NOT go to Costco in these times. I unfortunately have to go to a supermarket once a week but try my best to keep distance and wear a mask.
This is very serious folks. I was in the “ they’ve gotta sell newspapers camp” and wasn’t fully buying in a month ago. I was wrong and have been humbled.
I work for a medical group here in NYC and serve 5 hospitals. They now have these 45 foot refrigeration trailers outside. The morgues are full, these are for more morgue space.
Sorry to be so gloom and off the Jeep topic but if this helps just one person take this more seriously then the post is worth it.

I was PRAYING for jeep therapy today, but, governor donkey-fluffer ordered everything closed, so, all of the 3 four wheeler parks in the area (rausch, aoaa, and fro) are all closed until further notice.

I think a lot of people are like this, myself included. I hope most people are big enough to do their part and beat this thing, even if we need to keep with this way of life for a few more weeks.

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
So I’ve been working from home just 8 days now. Already I miss my commute on the train, walking to work in the Loop (Chicago) and just going to the office & being with people. The last couple of days though, I have ended the day with a Jeep drive. Going nowhere in particular, just being in the Jeep feels good. I don’t think it would work this way in a Ford Fusion or in any of the other dumb cars I’ve had in the past. The rain on my soft-top is my favorite sound in the world right now, reminds me of my sailing days, even the backyard tents when I was a kid. I’m using ESS at the stop-lights and Jeep waving every Jeep going by, no matter how many lanes away they are. I don’t know what’s going to end up being permanent from all this, but I hope to always have a Jeep. Unless my clutch blows it up before I get the recall done. Then I wouldn’t have a Jeep. But the point is, I like having the Jeep. Especially now.

You Sir, understand the Jeep thing and put it into words beautifully. Well said. There is just something about some of the sounds that Jeeps make like the hum of the tires, rain on the roof, the splash when driving through water. Truly sounds that relax the soul.

The OP's post made me think of the times in the past couple weeks I've driven all of our vehicles for just about no reason at all other than to drive. A couple days ago, I drove around the Palos Verdes peninsula with the wife and dog. It satisfied a need to see something other than our daily routine of waking up, drinking coffee for a couple hours, then driving a mile to the old (now covered over) landfill and turning loose our pointer and walking a few miles, then home for TV and internet all day. I took the ol crewcab truck out the other day to ensure the battery was still up. I'm rotating the vehicle use as much as possible to keep them running. Lots of Jeeps and especially JLs around here. I try to drive the Jeep every few days. I think I'll pull it out today for our trip to the landfill.
