I’ve been working on cars before you were glimmer in your daddy’s eyes.
It’s likely the other way around young fella.

The 2022 models did come with engine covers, the dealer must have forgot to put yours back on. The engine covers were deleted on November 11 2022.
Knope! Ordered mine in Dec '21. Received March '22. No cover... and I am a happy Jeeper somehow without it.

I did my research. The extreme Recon package listed 35 inch tires with 1 1/2 inches of lift with corresponding front end parts, tailgate stiffener, upgraded front axle and fender extensions. Not what I got.
Do you know how to upload pictures to the internet?

Lol you are comical. No my dealer didn’t forget to put the cover on. None of the 2022 had covers. Not a single one on the dealer lot had one and as I said I knew about it before I took a Delivery. If you do a search on here you will likely find the discussion that dates back to December 2021-2022.
My Jeeping buddy’s has one on it and it is a 2022.

Lol my 2022 built in Jan 2022 , 3.6 has NO engine cover none of the 22 models did.
If I'm remembering correctly (possibly not), the Pentastar engine covers were on some of the earlier to mid-year '22 models and prior and not at all on the '23 models. Think the '23 build-and-price configurator was the first to show a picture of the v6 engine without it (only possible proof of any potential false advertising).

I'm personally not too bothered by not having an engine cover, but annoyed by the fact that Jeep certainly didn't pass along the $225 in savings to me (LINK) and all the mounting points are still plainly visible and not even plugged with some cheap filler bolts.

Otherwise, most of us are perfectly capable of removing the "useless piece of plastic" on our own, so it's not like Jeep is somehow doing anyone a favor by giving the consumer less than they would've gotten the year prior while also charging significantly more money.

Yes. I went back to Jeep’s website when I started fighting with Jeep about this. It no longer states it comes with 1 1/2 inches of lift.
That's...not what I asked.

Another know it all with nothing to back up what they are saying. Look up the spring numbers. The Recon ones say right at the top of the page 2020 to 2023
top of...what page?
