46 pages, I may have to add some glue on nails and attempt to solve this problem once and for all. I need a new perspective.
You do that. Welcome to my world.

But i have nails and thus the little fingertip window buttons dont allow me to fit my nail ...
So here's something to consider:

The driver's side seatbelt latch in our 2002 Liberty upgefucht (German technical term for 'ceased working') quite some time ago. The little red button thingie sticks in the depressed state, and the seatbelt won't latch.

But ... if the little red button thingie can be pulled back out of the depressed state, it will latch just fine.

Replacing that part of the seatbelt costs more than should be necessary, and is a PITA to replace as well.

So. I have the little hook-pick thingie on the far right in this image lying there by the transfer case shifter. It works great for catching the little red button thingie and pulling it up. While this may seem a bit unwieldy, it really isn't. No more than pushing the Stop/Start thingie in the JLU. Part of the pre-flight, as it were.

If there are concerns about scratching the buttons - well, it's the underside of the buttons, and in any case, a quick dip into a tube of silicon sealer will leave a thin silicon coating that will keep that scratching from happening.

Well. That lil push of the start/stop also annoyed the crapola outta me. I yanked out 1 of the hood sensors- with my long nails- and viola, that solved that problem. Her Highness doesnt have start/stop so i dont have to worry about it.
As for the switches.... if i wont use my knuckle, im certainly not going to use a pokey thingy lol.
Plus. I lose everything.
Im the keys in the freezer, shoes by the lake, ect and so on.

Not sure if you found a solution, and 47 pages is too many to read :P.

I use my knuckles alot when my hands are dirty, but you have to push upward not pull on the button.
