you missed the easiest solution on page 1. Like @dpike, @av8or, and @TrailSnail said - it would be super easy to form something like moldable putty on the switches. You could just have little flaps angled out, or whatever you want.
Sugru is made for this sort of thing.
Better get someone else to mold the Sugru.. sounds like a train wreck waiting to happen with those nails. Those are the best back scratching nails dont cut them! Offer the back scratch to some guy or gal lol that could wire you up some nice AUX switches or the Sugru stuff is amazing its like epoxy without the mess.

I hesitate to even post bc of all the rude reactions this might get but here it goes....
I am a girl.
I love jeeps.
I want to put my windows up.
But i have nails and thus the little fingertip window buttons dont allow me to fit my nail with fingertip into them enough to get leverage to push the window button down. Only my nail "goes in" if that makes sense. Daughter and her friends have the same issue.
Yes i can cut them shorter and thankfully in the summer I do but in winter my nails are always longer bc I'm not doing hands on crap as much and am instead looking picture perfect at holiday functions.
I would LOVE if someone could 3d print slide/stickon button extenders.
Im tired of looking for the clothespin to close a window.
First world problem i know.
No "cut your nails", "long nails suck" ect responses needed.
These are my real nails so no "princess type" responses either.
Sad I even have to buffer my questions these days.
Anyhoo.
If you like back scratches, then you like nails so help a chick out and tell me this product exists or throw some ideas at me. Im about to e6000 some tounge depressers on the suckers bc the 392 buttons are hella stiff compared to her 2020 rubi and that would be just ugly. I could bedazzled them.... JK!
And No i cannot just use my nails to pull up on these dang window buttons. Even at the most painful leverage force amount the button doesnt move.

have you tried to use your thumb pointed down to push windows down and your index finger to pull the button to close the windows? That may help a bit. :)

Lost me at gigantic pain... gotta admit... let's pulllll it on back to duct tape and take a few steps forward not going past the splicing stage.... thank you.... thank you....
I was actually the one thinking about enduring the pain. You would just have to do enough surgery on your dash to plug the thing in, which is not insanely complicated.

I like the elegance of the idea. I don't really like the prospect of sorting out all the headaches though, so I should probably shut up and stop trying to talk myself into getting stuck with a massive pain in the ass for a project :CWL:

Figure it out yourself. You have plenty of time on your hands( we all know you don't work or plan on working ever!)....pretty sure you said that in a post before.....no respect
Calm down stud, a lot of us don't work on here, it's called retirement. While I am enjoying not working, I know I'll get bored and find another job to fill the void. Is this linkedin or a jeep forum? Are jeep forums not for looking for solutions to jeep problems?

I clicked on the video because I wanted to see the Turkeys chasing the Jeep. We have turkeys here too, they like to nest on the top of vehicles. I park in the garage.

Why don't you have someone make you some "L" shaped tabs that you can "glue" to the back of the switches. The the tab sicks out as far as you need to push down on (pulls on the back of the switch) or push up on (pulls the back of the switch forward for window up). I got lazy coloring in the rest of the tabs.

Scroll down a bit. If you don't like this one, google for more disability based options.
@Jjirish I'm not sure if @mnjeeper 's post may have been missed earlier, but it really seams like the best solution if you don't want to mess with electrical. I'd assume they're available in black, and there's probably something readily available on Amazon that could be used for the same purpose.

You missed my question to on page 8. I will ask again.

Excuse me for I have a question. You live in Florida. My son lives there.(Jacksonville). Its one humid :swear: shall I say HOT state. Why do you have your seat warmer on?? Even one bar is warm.
Florida here and my wife always has her seat warmers on. She likes the heat on her back and the heated seats in her Mustang are stupid hot. More Jeep specific, a lot of people like the heat on when the mornings are "cool" (below 75) when driving naked. To be clear, it's the Jeep that's naked, not the driver although they might want the seat warmer on in that scenario too.

If you’ve ever had a back injury, seat warmers are great. Even when it’s 100 degrees outside.

Ha! Sorry i really try to acknowledge everyone in my threads... but i do miss some here and there...
The seat warmer.... yesh hella hot here. Hot muggy humid.... so i keep the ac at abt 68 and the heated seat is bc my masseuse moved and im in pain! She took a neck that needed major surgery and magically over 3 years of therapy literally "fixed it"... now im left being sore so the heat helps. Kinda a boring answer i know.
