Sounds like you have Brake Hold enabled.I just bought a 2020 Gladiator and then purchased a Tazer Mini..I haven't messed with it much except to change my Tire size and use the auto stop ..but now my ABS and Brake lights start flashing every once and awhile..Code U0168..any help appreciated.
I tryed also..came write back on..I even went and done a new firmware install to make sure I had the latest..didn't help a bit..finally unplugged it and went back to my the normal plug ins..now its fine..I don't get it..Sounds like you have Brake Hold enabled.
U0168 just means the vehicle lost communication with the Security Gateway Module. You can clear this code with the Tazer.
It’s basically a nothing code. I wouldn’t worry about it. If you need the live features of the Tazer, go ahead and plug it back in.I tryed also..came write back on..I even went and done a new firmware install to make sure I had the latest..didn't help a bit..finally unplugged it and went back to my the normal plug ins..now its fine..I don't get it..
That’s likely because you have Brake Hold turned on.I worry about the abs and the brake light coming on all the time..can that cause me a problem. Thanks
It’s a “Live” feature, so check with the vehicle running.I will try and hook it up again and check on the Brake hold..I don't remember ever turning it on..but you can never tell.lol
I have been all through the instructions and done the switch on and off to save it several times..still throws that code and lights.lolIt’s a “Live” feature, so check with the vehicle running.
If you haven’t already, check out the Tazer instructions:

Also, you might want to check out the Gladiator forums here. These forums are for the 2018 and up Wrangler JL.
Live features don’t require the sleep cycles. I’d double check the Brake Hold setting. If you still have issue reach out to Z-Automotive for assistance.I have been all through the instructions and done the switch on and off to save it several times..still throws that code and lights.lol

Unless you want that feature, leave it off.my question now is Should the brake Hold be On or Off..it was on I turned it off as of now things seem to be fine.
