Issues with Bestop Trektop NX soft top after install

Hi there! Looking for help with my Bestop Trektop NX soft top. I got it all installed (bought from FB marketplace) and it's getting stuck while opening. Any advice or ideas would be awesome!

Is it binding up somewhere preventing it from opening? Also are the cables on both sides attached. I believe the cables help with the opening process
