I’m just interested in the recommended wheel offset. It should be 12mm for 35’s, but wanted to double check. Is that in the manual? They included this info in the older JK Mopar lift manual. Thx!
I haven't looked that closely yet. I went through about 5 pages and it was mostly pictures. I didn't see anything like that, though.

It will fit basically anything from factory backspacing, 6, to as far out as you want to go 4.5 etc. on a 2” lift.
37s you will probably have to dial it in, but 35s will give you plenty of space to even run factory wheels without spacers

Thanks Mattyp. Do you know which offset would keep the scrub radius the same as stock? I don't want excessive tire wear or steering instability from an incorrect scrub radius. I wish the JL Mopar Lift Installation Manual had this info lift the JK manual does. I'll probably just mimic the Mojito build to play it safe. Those mopar beadlock rims have a 12mm offset which they say is 4.4" backspacing.

My dealer told me the lift kit would be keyed in under the VIN and treated like equipment that was installed at the factory. The back of the JL Mopar performance parts catalog says something to this effect.

Edit: This was assuming the dealership would install the lift kit.
I wonder if it's at the dealer's discretion. When I asked mine about what warranty was offered with the Mopar lift, they said the parts would be covered exclusively under their own warranty, but it'd still be considered aftermarket. Therefore, if the lift itself breaks something, the lift is covered, but whatever it does to the vehicle is not.

I had another dealer tell me something similar. I walked. I’d show them the warranty verbiage from the back of the catalog and see what they say.

As far as keeping the scrub radius I am not sure. I think the mopar beadlocks are a good place to start. Probably will need more people on here with different setups to get a definite long term answer. I was going to go with a method or black rhino with 4.5 backspacing until I found out where I live cannot have tires stick past fenders. So I'm going stick with stock wheels for now.
I think excessive tire wear shouldn't be too big of an issue as long as you are inflated properly with anything from 6-4.4 backspace. Looking at JK forums the issue is more of rubbing rather than tire wear. People have 50-75k on a set of tires with different back spacings, should not change for different models or types of suvs trucks very much. But I am no expert so could be wrong.
Also could be that the recommended tire and backspacing in the JK was because the wheel well was smaller so higher chance for rubbing? Seems to be less of a problem on JL?

I bought my Mopar kit from Quadratec, who got it from a dealership. My dealership will install it Tuesday. So, how would that work under those circumstances, or would it?
If you don't mind me asking, what was the dealer charging for the install?

They gave me a decent deal since I was their first installation. They made me promise not to tell.

Wondering how easy it is to install a Mopar lift kit yourself? Will it still be covered by warranty if you install it yourself? Also, I saw an instruction book that comes with the lift kit. Anyone know where I can find a PDF of that?

Follow up to this: So, I ended up buying the lift kit at the end of February and installed it myself. Because I didn't have the dealership install it, it apparently does not come with a warranty and I had to shell out the $12 for the replacement front driver's side isolator pad that's got the bad design. Sure, it's $12 and it took 15 minutes to pop on, but that's still BS. Any other product has a warranty against defects, such as the floor mats, the tailgate reinforcement kit, and so on. But not the lift kit if you install it yourself.

I certainly don't regret the kit, nor installing it, as it's been fantastic both on and off-road. However, for Mopar to get picky on what they cover under warranty against laughably obvious flaws is yet another reason why their JPP line (on top of the fact half their stuff still isn't out yet) won't be a threat to the aftermarket, regardless of how much they expand or improve upon it.

Having their own Jeep parts to coincide with the launch of the JL was an excellent idea, but damn did they screw that up.

I’d like to see I believe it’s your dealership or depends on the dealership because I just took mine in yesterday and they are replacing my driver side isolator for free under warranty and I put on the Mopar 2 inch lift myself. The Mopar left comes with a warranty does not matter who puts it on.

Lastly, Did you really put that isolator in within 15? That has to be a record! Lol

You've got a better dealership than I. I didn't ask them to do the labor on the job, but just hook me up with the part and they seriously fought me on it.

To get it in there, yeah. I'm not counting putting everything back together, but that didn't take long at all, either.

That’s what I thought I’m just giving you a hard time well that sucks that they did not put it in for you because Mopar is the one who’s paying them anyway, so it makes no sense. Oh well, at least it’s in.
