I just installed new Raxiom LED headlights (Projector Style) on my Rubicon JLU XR and I am having issues getting the proper adjustments on the lights. This might now be the best picture but it should work. As you can see there is the area where the lights are hitting and then everything else. Right now that blue line (think my phone did that) is just above eye level. It kind of makes it a little difficult to see up the road. I would love to angle the lights up just a tad, but I am already getting flashed a lot on country roads. Any suggestions here, am I missing something in the setup? I love how bright the lights are.

Maybe the trouble for other drivers is the aiming of the pattern. Notice the cutoff of the pattern on the passenger side then compare that with the drivers side. It looks like the driver side is angled towards the oncoming traffic. Try adjusting that inboard and you may solve some of the flashing problem.

Hate to tell you, but your lights are aimed WAY too high.

Proper adjustment is top of the beam should be 2.5 to 3 feet off the ground as measured off a wall 25 feet away.

Eye level would put it at about 5.5 to 6 feet?

No wonder you're getting flashed.

They should be adjusted to 36" at 25'. That allows them to be below the door sill of most cars at reasonable distance. It's not a perfect answer but you'll get flashed a lot less.

Beat me to it. By that one pic alone, that's waay too high.

This is an excellent link! Thank you for sharing! Proper Headlight Aiming is another lost art.
For sure.
I still have the old Hoppy headlight aiming kit we used when I first got a job as a mechanic (at a shop that was part of a former AMC dealership)
I use it on my cars - one has round headlights, the other the "modern" rectangular lamps.
How things have changed!

I need to re-amin the lights on my JT - I swapped front springs to help handle the big load on the front of that Jeep and it ended up being higher than I wanted, and my low beams now light up road signs 1/4 mile away from me. I hate it when they are coming at me that way so I'm going to do my best to fix it so I don't do the same to others.
I just have to find the darned adjustment screws now LOL

Wearing similar shoes here……….completed a 4 year apprenticeship as an automobile mechanic at a 7-Franchise dealership (that was still in the old country, almost 40 years ago.) They actually had a tunnel to adjust the lights, and it was part of the PDI process on every new car sold there. The law requirements were simple to remember and very similar to here - 10% drop at 23 Feet. (If center of headlight is at 25”, set low beam center to 22.5” at 23 feet distance).
Yes - searching for adjuster screws can easily become an expedition under the hood. Had to re-aim the lights on the Grand Cherokee after installing a level kit. The online search was most helpful for finding the adjusters.

It looks to me like his Jeep is sitting higher than the area in front of it, making it look worse than it is. That being said, if you're constantly being flashed your lights are aimed too high. If you can find a nice flat area with a wall to make some measurements that'd give you a better idea.
