Note they are not heated and it causes issues in heavy snow...
Depending on the snowfall you’re driving through I don’t see how any headlight could melt snow fast enough to overcome the deep recesses of the headlight bucket. Not saying I would like to get out of my warm car to brush off the snow, but for 99% of the time I’m not in a blizzard, I’ll take the superior lighting these LEDs provide.

I heard this a 1000 times already. I cant understand why people still buy or order without.... literally 20 if these threads.
I ordered my JL without them for good reasons.. With me being an electronics guy I know that while LEDs last a long time, the power supplies made by the car manufactures are not so great and will likely fail. Changing a light bulb is cheap and easy, however if an LED goes out they are generally sealed and you can't get to the components to fix it and you're looking at a very expensive housing to replace. I'd much rather throw aftermarket LED lightbars on.

With that said when I ordered my Jeep, a week later another guys deal fell through and we bought up his custom ordered/made JL which was close to what I wanted. It had the LED package and it's pretty awesome, but again I fear of future out of warranty issues one day.. The good thing with a Jeep though is the aftermarket is really awesome, so hopefully there will be direct non OEM replacements available when that time comes..

Just drove through a blizzard. Headlights were clear. No issues. Even the backup camera keeps a pinhole opening in heavy snow.

Does anybody know the color temp of the factory LEDs? I see a lot of discussion but no definitive answer and can't find it on MOPAR site or elsewhere.

I'm guessing 6000 K?

Shoot, I didn’t get led on my 18 f250, regret it everyday. So, I got the led package on my 19 rubicon-no brainer
