Thanks man. I’m not one of those “we’ve been riding out hurricanes since Audrey in ‘57!” folks. We left town yesterday and are in San Antonio with my folks. Thanks for your concern though, we appreciate it.Laura is now a Cat 4 and projected to be a cat 4 at landfall. “Unsurvivable” storm surge that could go 30-miles inland in some places.
there are Jeepers on this board who are in the “cone” (I’m thinking of @Chocolate Thunder among others). Stay safe. Godspeed.
While we have never met, I was hopeful that you evacuated. I have an ex-employee (I’m retired now) who lives essentially at the center of the cone in LA (but inland). As of yesterday, he isn’t leaving......Thanks man. I’m not one of those “we’ve been riding out hurricanes since Audrey in ‘57!” folks. We left town yesterday and are in San Antonio with my folks. I think we are at the western edge of any serious damage area so I expect our home will be fine. Pray for those in the direct path between Port Arthur and Morgan City. Wind and storm surge will be a beast.
Am I seeing that right. Is that Jeep running a staggered tire config.Yeah the damage in the area isn’t pretty. Did catch this though....among houses all torn apart from the wind the Jeep survived.
