I suspect if the GME-T6 does get used it won't be till the facelift in 2024 or 2025. The engine will be around for a bit in the Wagoneer etc. 40th Anniversary 392 might be an option. But new I6 engine almost certainly won't turn up until the mid-life facelift.

Plus as above, no way you want to get Version 1.0 of the engine. Let the Wagoneer owners drop the valves, blow head gaskets, score cylinder bores etc for us so that FCA can get a few years of fixes in first IMO.. then.. yeah, it looks like it could be a good option :)

I don't think anyone NEEDS a 392. At some point we have to start thinking of the world around us and driving a 6.4L V8 and drinking that amount of gas should probably at some point be considered a crime. Driving Jeeps is bad enough but we have to draw the line somewhere and at some point someone with responsibility needs to step in and stop the insanity.

I’m amazed! The Hurricane I6 won’t fit! It’s a trap! Seriously, how the hell did they ever fit a 4.0L six in a TJ? Must have been a myth…
