I was going to keep this one for forever but I may be blessed/fortunate to have a life-changing opportunity by EOY… time to grab a 392 and start over. I blame @chevymitchell who probably just wants me to fund his hobbies when I send it to him for all the work!

Hey, one never knows what may come in the future. All of us who answered "I'll keep it forever" would probably agree.

When I bought my 2006 Wrangler I remember telling the dealer that it would be the last vehicle I ever purchased. Then Jeep had to come out with a Tuscadero 4xe in 2024. Oh well.

6yo, low miles and no issues. I don't drive as much and near retirement so maybe it will outlast me.

Yeah… I know. It’ll be worth it because I trust @chevymitchell (he worked on my Jeep when I couldn’t figure out what I was doing or fixed my screw ups :giggle:) and have wheeled with him before a few places. The plan is to fly out there to meet him and wheel CO/Moab too, then ship it back to NC.

We tend to keep some vehicles a long time. I have an old Corvette that I've had 40 years (it's a 1970). We still have our Mustang GT purchased new in '06. Still have our 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T purchased new. I still have my 2010 Corvette Grand Sport purchased new. Still have my 1994 Harley Fat Boy purchased new. Still have my 2015 Harley Street Glide purchased new. We bought a 2021 Gladiator new and plan on never giving it up. We adore the like new 2019 2 door Rubicon which we bought last week. Never give that up. We love it! We also have a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria P71 which we bought in 2021. We have no commute so nothing really racks up miles and everything is in a climate controlled garage since we love them all so much. What sees the most miles? The Gladiator.

47 feet wide, 3 bays are 28 feet deep and one bay is 20 feet deep. 14 foot ceilings. 4 vehicles on the ground. 3 up on lifts and the bikes sit between two of the cars. 1270 sq ft.

LOL That's bigger than my house, including the under house garage! But it's just me and two 12 lb dogs, so it's plenty of room.

Around here, it isn't unusual to see someone with a 20+ car garage. In Texas vs California real estate, Texas wins out every time. What might cost us $400,000 would cost you $1.5-2 million, plus we get more land and pay less in taxes.
From the outside you don't even know its a huge garage. 4 wide, 4 deep, and triple stacks. That's 24 cars, unless you save a couple of spaces for motorcycles.

IMO, vehicles at about 5 to 7 years (or so) tend to start needing a lot more maintenence and replacement parts. Its not like the old cars.
My uncle has a mid 80s Volvo, that thing will probably outlive me.
