My 2020 has manual locks and windows because it will eventually be my daughter's Jeep and I want her to experience that, plus it's a bit nostalgic for me because when I got my first Jeep power windows and locks weren't available at all on any Wrangler.

My 80th Anniversary has power and I wanted the prox handles, however, when the dealer tried to add that option to my order it forced the dual door group. I had them on my JT and liked them. The replacement for the 80th has been ordered and is a Sahara, so should get that feature back in a couple months (hopefully).

It was a forced option when we ordered. I would not have paid for it otherwise. The giant key fob is obnoxious. My wifes last car had it, this is her ride, she likes it.

This is a poll only for those who made a conscious choice not to get the proximity entry on their JL--because a real Jeeper wouldn't get that feature--but do have keyless entry via their key fob. (This isn't for those who didn't get the option for other reasons, such as cost, etc.)

====================================
UPDATE:
Just to clarify... I may not have made it clear above.
I'm not saying that people who get the proximity entry feature are not real Jeepers. Quite the opposite, actually. I WANT the proximity entry feature.
This poll is for those people who think that feature is not for real Jeepers.
I didn't get it cuz I thought it was stupid, but wish I had it now cuz I'm old & lazy.

As a lifelong tech/IT guy simply walking up to a locked car and getting in with no extra effort to me... THIS is what we went to the moon for, THIS tech is cool.

Thanks for coming to me TED talk.

It is really nice walking up to the door with the key in my pocket, and hearing the actuator function - feels like my Jeep remembers who I am.

No fiddling around digging in pockets, shuffling items to one arm to free another, and keeps my shiny little bezel all shiny and scratch free.

For a completely stock Jeep... I believe it is used "hardcore". It gets dirty/muddy. It gets belly bashed, and it gets pinstriped from Bob Ross' little friends.

The best part about creature comforts is the creature comforts.

I started out in a YJ with no a/c, no sound deadening or carpet, a oem AM/FM radio with two little mid-range speakers, and a soft top (no reason to even lock the vehicle up). Had to really think about logistics when traveling with guns/other.

Had a blast in that YJ, but I wouldn't feel anymore hardcore trading my fully loaded JL to go back to the YJ.
