I said 3, I would say 4…however now it is usually a question of time. I would like to do more…but I know I am better of just outsourcing the labor and getting it done.

Yeah heading downward towards a 3. Time, age, other ways to spend my ‘free’ hours. Love DIY though but if one is practical the line becomes clear.

It's complicated. I am somewhere between a 3 and a 4. But at times I am a 2.

Factors:

1. Sometimes I open the hood and all I see is a bunch of tangled yarn.

2. Installation instruction say 2 hours, but I already know I'll still be working on it 4 hours later.

3. My mind says: Remember that one time you tried to fix that "simple thing" and then you had to take it to a mechanic to fix all the additional problems you caused?
