Absolutely NOT a new problem, lots of Wranglers have this issue. Both of mine did as well. Recently installed these on both jeeps and problem solved. I don't know these people, but their product 1) worked well 2) was cheap(ish) and 3) super easy to install. Good luck!

Big Bend trail ("Black Gap Road") Can be done in a stock '65 station wagon. It's a medium-length trail with literally only one single 'obstacle' that already has had rocks stacked on it. That was a single ledge that was maybe a foot or two tall.
