There’s a trillion options. It’s so overwhelming. I always knew I wanted black. But for some reason bronze always tugged at my heartstrings. My wife did not want bronze but now that she’s warming up to it, I’m chickening out to go for the sure thing of black. And that’s just the COLOR!! It’s so overwhelming I might just keep what I have and wait to see if there’s any good Black Friday deals. Below is a pic of my Jeep and the wheels that came with it. It’s so gaudy I’m sometimes embarrassed. I just want something I like, but I like them all that I can’t decide! Sorry for the rant, it’s just so much.

You can spend ~$80 on onx off road elite membership and get 25% off Method wheels which will put your cost for 5 less than 4. I knew I wanted bronze and the bead grips sounded interesting and liked the look of the 703s and got that hella good deal and couldnt pass it up.

Well you have to weigh on a matrix of cost, style, function, durability, availability, features, and legality
That last one isnt as important

It is to some people. If it weren't Icons and beadgrips wouldn't be a thing
For me it was the maintenance on bead locks that steered me towards the Methods

Also that beadlocks are just overkill for 98% of Jeepers and more than I wanted to spend

I just wanna be a rockstar! Those take me back.

Narrow style down based on categories, fake beadlock rings, spoke style, color. That will help pare down the offerings.

Less is more with wheel design. The more complicated, the harder they are to clean. The ones that catch your eye mounted on the wall at the tire store usually look the worst when mounted on your Jeep.

The shade of Bronze varies by manufacturer. Some are really bright, almost gold and other are darker, more of a hint of brown in them. Also, consider titanium color wheels, or even polish finish, both of which would look good against that blue.

Whatever you do, look for hubcentric wheels which are designed to fit better than lug centric wheels, which are universal fit, relying on the lug nuts to center the wheel and bear all of the weight.

I'm keeping the tires, only replacing the wheels. Would never go above 17 anyways. I think I'm going to get RockTrix, because they all look great, great reviews and of course the price. Can anyone confirm if they are hubcentric?

Wheels on Jeeps that are going to visit off road, are gonna get beat up. And once beat up, those are a constant display that your Jeep does battle off road. Knowing that, I went the least expensive route. I went with RockTrix wheels. They're affordable, not ugly, and come in the most popular colors most folks want. Thus far we've had these wheels off road and on beach, and they went down to 11PSI without issue. And, as I mentioned, ours, only a couple of months old, display war wounds. But that JLU wears 'em proudly! Best of luck on your decision, and your upgrade...
