I don't run wheel locks personally.
Would just be an extra PITA if you need to swap a tire on the trail.
If someone wants to steal the wheels... I'll let the insurance company deal with that.
It's really not. Takes maybe 4 or 5 seconds to fit the key (it slips over the entire lug nut). So maybe an extra minute or two but nothing I'd consider a PITA. If you lost the key... however... ugh... that would be... unfortunate.

Point taken that locks are merely a theft deterrent and not prevention. But still would prefer to make it harder for the MFers to grab them ... might make 'em move on to an easier target.

I have something like these lugs on my wheels...

The spikes on the spare actually perfectly line up with the lines for the back up camera when it's lined up straight. It's pretty neat. I don't have a picture of that yet though, but I'll take one and post it if anyone wants to see
Wow. You're not planning on entering any chariot races with your Jeep, are you? :giggle:

There are 3
The locking lug nuts can strip and be impossible to take off, in town not a as big a deal as on the trail
I just use Gorilla multi spine lugs nuts not a locking lug but unique to themselves. Also carry three lug removal tools for that day I drop one in the mud

Lol. Those are considered locking lug nuts. That's what I run as well. Anything that requires a "key" would be considered locking.
