It's really not. Takes maybe 4 or 5 seconds to fit the key (it slips over the entire lug nut). So maybe an extra minute or two but nothing I'd consider a PITA. If you lost the key... however... ugh... that would be... unfortunate.I don't run wheel locks personally.
Would just be an extra PITA if you need to swap a tire on the trail.
If someone wants to steal the wheels... I'll let the insurance company deal with that.
Point taken that locks are merely a theft deterrent and not prevention. But still would prefer to make it harder for the MFers to grab them ... might make 'em move on to an easier target.
