I really need a good system to secure my cargo in the rear of my 4 door JL. Its a struggle to keep all the bins/ bags/ tools/ etc from moving around and turning into a huge mess in addition to watching a 50lb milk crate full of chains launch through the air like a spitball when I had an accident.

This seriously needs to be fixed asap but I struggling to see any simple and effective methods. Driving a 4door with the rear seat removed and a modified Springtail platform installed.

How are you taking care of this?

Vid link shows my Pelican storm cases and how I will be set-up for Moab in October. I run "open" April Fool's Day through Halloween (exceptions being on long trips) so waterproof is a must. I use a 10' long bicycle cable lock to secure my cases down in case of a roll over (which you can see a bit of it in the vid). HOPE to never find out if that functions properly. Each case can be locked individually.

I have done a 2/3rd seat delete. The kid sits right behind the driver. The pic you see below is daily driving mode. I also installed 2 mesh "attics" which I can get a pic of later today if desired.

The multi-sided straps can be sinched to different lengths for customization. I need to run out right now. Will put a link to the straps when I get back.

I’ve got a Dirty Dogz net behind the seat in my 2 door with the rear seat out. Keeps dog and whatever is back there from coming forward. A heavy stretch net (or buggies) on the floor would hold cargo where you want it as well.

Semi permanent (can be removed as it’s screwed in to the AAL floor)but works for me. I’m using the American adventure labs fridge slide, drawers and cargo shelf. You have to be patient but I think it’s worth the wait and price. My shelf will be here Friday and I’m still waiting on one drawer. I ordered the floor, fridge slide and one drawer first. Then the shelf and second drawer.

Jeep/Mopar has the "Trail Rail" system. I know nothing about it other than it exists, but perhaps that can provide you with more flexible tie down points that meet your needs.

A giant box from Home Depot kinda similar to the ones in the above video chained down at four points with four padlocks. Great for security too with the top off.
We've used 2 on a bigger trip but one usually works great, waterproof, wheels, handle.

These are up to 99 bucks now, pretty sure we got them for 60 a while back
I'd probably pay the 99 if I needed another today though as I've never found anything as good.
They got chains at Home Depot too and padlocks, try and cut the chain yourself if you want service otherwise everyone hides but once you try cutting it yourself they magically appear as your not allowed ?

I built my own drawer system and plate for the rear. Everything is enclosed and locked in, even if we roll over nothing is moving.

Under the rear seat I use a variety of tool rolls and soft bags that are all secured with straps and bungees so they stay in place.
