Looking for your experience/feedback with the Hellwig JL Sway Bar. My sister just bought a JL 2 door and will never do much more that light trails and unpaved roads with it. She would like less body roll on the street. It looks like the easiest solution is the Hellwig Sway bar.

A few people have posted positive reviews here. I would like to hear from a few more users before installing it. Anyone care to comment on their on road experience with it? Thanks!

Not on the JL, but had the Hellwig sway bar on a F150 SuperCrew. Work truck, never off roaded unless the occasional dirt road or muddy driveway/yard counts. Quality part. Worked well.

Never used one, but have read a lot about them. Great product and will definitely decrease body roll in the curves and corners.

I purchased the hellwig for my jeep jl. It made a huge difference in body roll. It tracked straighter around turns and felt more planted on the highway when shifting lanes. Best handling upgrade that I've done on the jeep. If you do heavy off roading you may not like it as it will work against you when rock climbing and other more advanced trails. But for the street and light off roading it's great.

I need to check this out with a disco link combo.

I was passing a semi through a downhill sweeping turn last time out and noticed how terrible it was, way too soft.

Did you do just the rear?

Yes, just the rear. I haven't looked to see about the fronts. Originally in stock form my jeep would always lift and lean around any twisted roads at just regular speeds. Now the rear stays planted which helped with handling alot. I'll check out the fronts, but I don't really think the fronts are needed. It was more the rear.

Just for reference, My jeep is a 2018 JL sport S stock suspension, no lift.
