So just installed this rear sway bar in about 1 hour. Top line it greatly improves handling stability, steering response, wind sway. And body roll. Not recommended for rocks or greatly uneven trails as it is MUCH stiffer than stock. As I do beach and dirt roads this is perfect for me. Steering feels heavier like a sport setting in a German car. Not sure why but it was noticeable. I ordered from Quadratec six weeks ago just arrived yesterday, as Hellwig produces in batches for particular vehicles.

This was one of the first mods I did and it changed the Jeeps handling 10 fold! Handles and corners great! I also changed the shocks which made another huge difference.

I just upgraded mine as well. Which of the two holes did you guys use? I haven’t had a chance to test drive yet but I’m hoping I get the same results.

Hellwig makes a fantastic product for sure. The JL rear bar greatly reduces body roll and crosswind sensitivity.

The hole more towards the end of the bar will make the bar somewhat easier to twist by making the effective level length longer. This will increase roll a bit but also increase flex for offroading.

There's plenty in stock at the moment.

Thanks, I mostly do mud and beach/sand dune trails. So I think I’m going to use the top holes to shorten it up and reduce roll.

I didn't want it too firm so I used the furthest hole and am happy for the way it handles.

so with a Rubicon XR on a 1 inch spacer, would i just go with the non lifted sway bar ?
i hate all the body roll and would love to be able to reduce it. eventually i will lift the jeep just not yet.

Yes indeed you'd want the stock height one for a mild 1" lift.

Does this clearance look right for the Hellwig rear sway bar? I’ve got a steersmart track bar, and I don’t remember if the stock sway bar was that close to it
