I don’t know if you guys have considered using a Molex Perma-Seal heat shrink connector, but that’s what I use to keep things 100% waterproof. They make some units that are designed to bring two wires into one. I buy mine from Waytek Wire. You crimp them, and then heat shrink them, and you cannot pull them apart. If they are incorrect, you have to cut them off. I have been using these exclusively for almost 20 years now, and I have never had one leak or fail. I suggest buying the Molex crimper that has three different crimp sizes on it as well and is spring loaded. Well worth the money. Just a suggestion.

I spent some time looking as well, and the Stedi UK harness adapter was the only one I found.

Probably not a big deal using a Posi-Tap, but I'd rather spend $40 and buy a pass-through versus risking corrosion potentially messing up my factory harness and LED headlamps if the splice (or Posi-Tap) isn't 100% waterproofed just right, especially in that location. The extra $60 for S&H is insane, though.

Would be a good project for @Baja Designs , @KC HiLiTES or @Diode Dynamics for their JL & JT customers that would like a safe/simple and easily reversible plug-and-play solution to control their off-road lighting via highbeam.
I'll send a request in to our engineering team. Thanks for the recommendation.

I just want to say I'm interested as well. I personally have a strict "no splicing factory wiring" rule.
I'd rather go without before cutting into factory wiring. It's the same reason why I made sure to buy a Jeep with factory auxiliary switches too.

^^^ Anyone that would like a plug & play for this might want to like this post so KC HiLiTES can get an idea if they'd like to make this happen.

Jeep Wrangler JL Headlight high-beam splice point 1708615048067

If anyone is still interested, one of our engineers made up a few samples for testing.
Plug and play between factory harness and headlight.
Giving an output for low beam, high beam and parking light.
Has a butt connector on the ends to tie into a relay for control of another light.

We have 5 to giveaway to forum members in this thread who would want to test them. First come first serve.
Just send me a private message with...

- Year/model of your jeep
- What headlights do you have

All we ask for in return is pictures/videos of your set up, how you are using it and some feedback. Our lights, other peoples lights, does not matter.

This is slick! Had I not already spliced my wires I’d be all over this!

Thank you for doing this; very cool. I already spliced mine as well, or I would be asking for one too! It is my opinion that you will sell a ton of these! Thanks guys.
