Hello,
I went out in the morning a few weeks ago to see one of my headlights were one. (the jeep has been off for 2 days)
I have a 2019 Jeep JL sport. I have a very low trim level. My headlight knob is either on or off, I have no Auto position option.
So I walk over, and my knob is in the off position. jeep is still off.
I unplugged the light and went to work. Came home, plugged in the headlight again, and I noticed it is my high beam that is stuck on. Will only turn off if I unplug it or pull the fuse.
I do have aftermarket LED's so thought one was maybe bad. I plugged in my stock headlight and the high beam is still on, while the vehicle is off.
Any ideas?
Again it is only my right headlight high beam... when I turn the vehicle on and lights every other light works normal.
I am going to go and look for my Headlight control module today and see if that is the problem

Any help is appreciated.

I've never had this happen or even heard of it. If the headlight control module isn't the problem my only thought would be to thoroughly inspect all the wiring you can get to in case something is shorting out. My only other advise would be the same thing I say with any weird electrical issues which is disconnect the battery for a bit and do a "hard reset".
Good luck.

I wonder if the headlight is fired by the BCM by grounding. Could be a short to ground in the circuit in that case.

You have a multimeter?

Damn, my diagrams may be LED only, but they show the fire is positive from the BCM.

I’d personally go with this, short to ground from bcm.

I've seen this after a Tazer 'light show' or the alarm goes off. I think I fixed it by running the light show again. Do you have a Tazer? Otherwise it would be a bad module.

Hey Everyone! sorry for late reply.. been crazy busy with fall rolling in and it getting cooler outside. (Ontario, Canada)

I have traced so many wires, and I do have a multimeter yes, I am a licensed electrician and my fiancé is a performance mechanic. The two of us spent hours trying to find solutions both in the jeep and online and I am so frustrated I may actually go to the stealership. :(

Thank you everyone for all the comments, I appreciate it!
