Gone for good. Even the ones left on lots, or unsold, were given a stop sale order. So there is no way, at all, to buy a new one from a dealer. As far as I know, even used ones at CDJR dealers are not being resold.

The 2024 and 2025 4XE's are indeed available to buy again. There is a $5,000 Jeep Incentive on many of them (but not all) plus any additional dealer discounts. I presume they all passed the 68C easily since they are unused, but that does not mean they will not have issues down the road...

You can get a used 2025 low mileage for $30,000, not sure why anyone would go buy a 4xe knowing the massive unfixable problems, and worse buy a new one selling for double what the same vehicle is selling for barely used.

But then again we had a lot of people paying close to MSRP for the 4xe, when they had massive incentives and deals.

Interesting. A few days ago, based on what I've read here and elsewhere, there was a total stop sale order. Maybe they all had to have a thorough inspection before being put back on the market. But that's just a guess.

This whole thing is incredibly fishy.

I sure hope I don't drive 4.5 hours to Carvana next week only for them to tell me the deal is off.

You can buy used ones. The stop/sale only blocks new, unsold units. Some CDJR dealers may not willingly re-sell them until the recalls are done but that's their decision.


Hell, a dealer can even sell a new one with a stop/sale. They just get fined like 29k or something.

Probably discounted to all hell until some poor sap buys one. Honestly if you don't mind it being broken a lot and have a second vehicle they're not a bad buy (for cheap) due to the insanely long warranty period. You can even bitch at jeep cares whenever it breaks. Sometimes they give you money to stop complaining.

Even if we assume Jeep finds a cheap fix to their expensive problem, with the discontinuation after such a short offering, the resell value on a 4Xe will be garbage until it becomes a nostalgic collector’s item.

I imagine parts availability on the 4Xe specific items will be limited to what can be found on parted out wrecks at the junkyards and worse, mechanics that were once trained but didn’t get proficient with that training will suffer information decay.

I truly feel for the Jeep PHEV owners. The situation is a friggin’ dumpster fire.

Yes, Stellantis had done us both a favor! It is hard to believe with all of the bad publicity, some, but very few are still interested in owning one of them.
