Have you tried an oem type solution? I really wish this was available for us. The jeep looks greatI did it to 5.13s and I’m running 37s. At the time I didn’t realize the Tazer wouldn’t work for a 4xe re-gear and the instructions didn’t contain the disclaimer they now contain about this very issue.
I am glad I rgeared. The electric motor like to run 1 or 2 gears lower than the gas motor. As I sit now, I’m in 8th on the highway almost all of the time. I also have picked back up some of the pep I had stock. However, I suspect that the electric motors don’t give full power until 3rd gear. Now 3rd year hits earlier and I feel the bump at that time.
The 37s with 5.13s perform very well off-road. If you off-road much you will find that you really need to be on e-save so that you get consistent power delivery because if you are t, the gas motor will kick in at odd times and double your power output.
Unfortunately, my ABS, cruise control, hill descent, and traction control don’t work after the re-gear. If TAZER or another company can’t figure this out soon I’m going back to 4.10s and chalking it up to a huge money waste. If it’s not coming through, I’m a bit irritated and computers aren’t that hard to crack. A friend of mine cracked the lotus ECU in 2005 in one week. Since all vehicles are going electric and the 4xe is a huge seller it’s mind boggling that an aftermarket hasn’t spent the time and money to corner the market.

Here is a thought, since the mph to rpm of 410’s & 33’s is close to being equivalent to 456’s & 37’s could you not program for for the 410/33 and run 456/37 with speedo and shift points being correct?Have you tried an oem type solution? I really wish this was available for us. The jeep looks great
It should have the off road cruise control. You can set the speed in .6 mph increments with the shifter.Your 4Xe has Hill Decent?
I had that same thought, and it sparked a conversation with JScan. Here is a thought, since the mph to rpm of 410’s & 33’s is close to being equivalent to 456’s & 37’s could you not program for for the 410/33 and run 456/37 with speedo and shift points being correct?
Another common sense idea shot down by modern technology, too badI had that same thought, and it sparked a conversation with JScan.
Here’s another common sense bright idea. If 4.50 is possible just do it, the.06 won’t make much difference. Then run “small” 37’s to make up the small difference.I had that same thought, and it sparked a conversation with JScan.
