Has anyone installed the Mopar Trailer Brake Controller?

When you push the knob to activate the manual brake option do you get warning lights on the dash?

If you don’t have a trailer connected, You will only see that on the first brake press after the Jeep has sat for 15 or more minutes and the controller has gone to sleep. Make sure to read the operations card that came with it, they explain all of this pretty well on there.
I will read it once I get a chance tomorrow. After I find my magnify glasses lol. I just wanted to post the findings today by a dealer installed installation.

2 Things...

1. If you have a Jeep built before 1/2020, the stability control errors is a known issue. You can either await the Mopar fix, or use the Tekonsha 3073-P harness to fix it in the mean time.
2. The controller will not light up at all without a trailer hooked to it. It’s not tied into the dash lights in any way.
I've been trying to follow this but I've seen several threads. Do we know that builds after 1/2020 work? Or no confirmation on that, just that earlier ones have an issue.

There was a chart started over on the Gladiator side of the forums, and so far every 2020 built Jeep works just fine, so that’s seems to match up with what the FCA bulletin says.

Mine was built March 2020 and the OEM controller works but ONLY with the mods jwilson and I hacked out. The OEM controller DID NOT WORK with the supplied Mopar interface cable.
FYI... read posts 70-72.

Got my controller a few days ago and installed it, so it's recent stock, and the OEM cable doesn't work. Well, it "works", but not quite as advertised. Replaced the OEM with a 3073-P: straight plug and play replacement for the OEM one, and it now works the way it should have, if FCA designers had bothered to build and test a prototype before signing off for manufacturing, which they clearly did not do.

Got my 3073-P from O'Reilly's. Would highly recommend doing the cable swap *before* installing the control box, because it's a right PITA to get to that socket to plug the new cable in once the box is bolted in place.

If the idiots at the mothership had sent the new wazoo controller with this cable, none of us would have had this issue. Once installed, the controller works precisely as described in the instructions.

This has been such a needless PITA...glad it's all worked out. Can you imagine trying to hammer this out without the help of the internet??

2020 Wrangler JL with advanced safety group built 5/2020. The controller worked fine for a month and now no lights and gives service electronic stability control message. I’ll order the harness.

I ordered mine through oreillys too. I have an 18 and the part came marked 2019-current JL. Would you or anyone know if there is a difference?
