How was the re-keying process? I have to do the same on my half doors once they are painted.
It's pretty painless. There are two stickers on the edge of the door - The top one locks your handle in place, the bottom locks the key cylinder in place. Loosen the bottom bolt (T25 I think) and the cylinder drops right out.

Keying a new cylinder yourself is a bit tedious, but perfectly doable if you take your time. I highly advise watching this video to get a sense of the process. The door key cylinder uses 8 pins though, not 4 like in this video.
